With great love comes a great marriage! After months of speculation, Tom Holland has confirmed in his July/August cover story with Esquire that he and Zendaya are married.
The actor subtly shared the news when addressing AI-generated wedding photos of the couple — who met in 2016 when they starred in Spider-Man: Homecoming, he as the famed Marvel web slinger and she as love interest MJ — that went viral in March. Holland explained that when those fake images made the rounds online, he heard from his grandmother, who thought she had not received an invite to the nuptials, but didn’t have to address them with others close to him, because, as the actor noted, “they were all there.”
Holland, who declined to share details of the day, also discussed how he and the singer-actress — to whom he’d been engaged since about January 2025 — have been able to lean on each other despite the stresses of Hollywood. “It’s really nice to have a bedrock of a relationship that will stand the test of time,” he told the magazine. “We can support each other in ways that only we can, because only we understand really what it’s like to live this life, and I think that is such a luxury, because I just don’t understand how I would be able to have anything like that with anyone else.”
He later added of Zendaya, who so far has landed six songs on the Billboard Hot 100: “I found my person. She’s my best friend, and I’m the happiest I have ever been when I’m with her, but I have also never felt so supported and safe, ever. Period.”
Besides the AI-generated images — which the Euphoria star herself said were “not real” during a March visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live! — fans suspected the couple had married well before any official confirmation was made by the pair. That’s because the actress’ longtime stylist Law Roach seemingly revealed the nuptials had taken place without many people knowing. “The wedding has already happened! You missed it,” the fashion expert said in a sing-song voice during an interview with Access Hollywood posted March 1. He then doubled down on his reveal: “It’s very true.”
